K-FLEX K-FIRE MASTIC P

K-FLEX K-FIRE MASTIC P is a single-component, water-based, spray-grade firestop sealant for construction joints, including head-of-wall, curtain-wall perimeter and expansion joints. It cures to an elastomeric membrane that accommodates dynamic movement and restricts the spread of flames, smoke and water through joint openings during a fire. The mastic can be applied from a tube, by brush or trowel, or with a spray pump. Systems are rated for up to three hours under ASTM E1966 (UL 2079), have completed 500 movement cycles under ASTM E1399, and have also been tested under ASTM E814 in systems rated up to four hours.
