K-FLEX K-FIRE MASTIC P

K-FLEX K-FIRE MASTIC P is a single component, general purpose fire rated, water-based, spray-grade sealant for construction joints such as top of the wall, curtain wall perimeter, expansion. It cures to an elastomeric membrane seal that is suitable where dynamic movement is expected. In case of fire, it will prevent the spread of flames, smoke, and water through the joint openings and it can be caulked from a tube, brushed or troweled from the pail, or applied with a spray pump. The systems are rated for up to 3 hour conditions in accordance with ASTM E1966 (UL 2079). It has been cycled 500 times (ASTM E1399). Also tested in accordance with ASTM E814 for systems up to 4 hours.
