The characteristic closed cell structure of the FLEXIBLE ELASTOMERIC FOAM strongly characterizes their behavior in terms of heat transmission mechanisms and water vapor permeability. In fact, this structure has a great influence on fundamental parameters for an insulating material, such as thermal conductivity, which value, as is the case with FEF, must be as low as possible in order to offer a high resistance to heat transmission, which is precisely what we expect from an insulating material.
